The Five Accountability Questions
Before any AI agent reaches production, five questions need documented answers.
Whose credentials does the agent use? What data sources does it access — and are they authoritative? What actions is it permitted to take — and what prevents it from exceeding those boundaries? How are its decisions traceable and explainable to a regulator or an affected individual? Who is accountable when the agent acts in a way that was not anticipated?
These are not technical questions. They are governance questions. And they are the questions regulators are already asking.

Data Loss Prevention policies govern which data sources agents can access. Microsoft Purview extends sensitivity classification to AI-generated content. The Enterprise Gap
